Catholic Deacon, Speaker, Author, Podcaster

We’re back! As you know we didn’t have a podcast last week while Fr. Dave was leading a pilgrimage. He is still leading a pilgrimage, but he was able to call in from Scotland. On a personal note, I’m really happy he is do committed to doing this podcast on a weekly basis. Being the president of Franciscan, and with all the additional travels he does, he has a thousand valid reasons to cancel on any given week. But he loves doing it (as do I) because we are very happy to share our friendship and insights with you. Thanks for all your shout outs, whether it be via email or in person—they mean a lot. You are the reason we do this!

We recorded on a Sunday afternoon (for me, Sunday evening for him) and I was fresh off my first Steubenville Youth Conference of the summer (I’ve got two more, one on campus and another in Springfield, MO). This year’s conference theme is “refuge” and I get to share a little bit about that. Fr. Dave also talks about his experiences over the past two weeks in Assisi, Italy and Scotland. Lots of great stuff!

Don’t worry, we talk about sports, too 🙂

And today is my 26th anniversary of marriage! Love you, Jennie!

  1. yes, it is Fr. Dave who led me to this podcast but it is Deacon Bob who keeps me coming back
