It was good to be back in person with Fr. Dave this week! Two more conferences this weekend (Applied Biblical Studies and Defending the Faith) and that will be a wrap on the Summer Conference season at Franciscan.
Pope Francis was just beginning his trip in Canada, but Fr. Dave said he wanted to talk about what Francis called a “pilgrimage of penance,” especially since Fr. Dave’s order has such a focus on penance. We also talked about what was going on in Germany with the “synodal path.”
And cats. We talked about cats.
If you really like cats… I will just apologize in advance. Let’s just say that Fr. Dave and Alf have a lot in common. 100 points for your house if you get that reference (and 50 more if you got the reference to the reference).
